Refuse facility on Miorita Street to be moved inside the district

The waste disposal facility located on Miorita Street, 12, in the mini-district Telecentru could be moved inside the district. Such a proposal was made at the City Hall session on Tuesday, April 10 by the head of “Autosalubritate” Management, Tudor Maniv, Info-Prim Neo reports. In his words, this decision is due to the mess around the bins, created by the citizens, including from Ialoveni town, who transport the refuse by cars and throw it into the bins. According to Maniv, on Saturday alone, 12 tonnes of refuse was taken away from those 3 bins on Miorita Street, 12. The waste collection vehicles transported 4 tonnes of refuse at 8.00, 16.00 and at 23.00. The head of the Management say that on Easter Eve, the employees of “Autosalubritate” transported wastes from different regions of Chisinau until 23:00. According to the cited source, about 4200 tonnes of garbage were transported by 104 waste collection vehicles.
