The September 5 constitutional referendum showed again that the people want another destiny and another administration, Serghei Perciun, a member of Moldova's Patriots party, said in a news conference on Tuesday, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Serghei Perciun, the Communists won the referendum, while the governing alliance suffered a defeat. “Though it was said that the Alliance for European Integration is solid, things stand differently. One thing unites them – the danger posed by the Communists. The struggle between the power and the Opposition is aimed at strengthening one's position. The people are being neglected,” he said. In another development, Serghei Perciun said the Government flouts the Constitution as Article 13 says Moldovan is the official language, but they celebrated the Romanian Language Day in Chisinau on August 31. The party Moldova's Patriots was registered on June 30, 2010. Before the referendum, it campaigned against amending the Constitution. The party is headed by Mihail Garbuz.
