Pyrotechnics can be used only by adults by exactly following the instructions of producers and must not be left within reach of children. The activities involving these will be performed in the open air, at a safe distance from people, buildings, trees and motor vehicles, IPN reports.
Under the decision taken by the Extraordinary Public Health Commission of the municipality of Chisinau on December 21, pyrotechnics must not be used in closed areas, in places involving many people, on balconies, block halls and on terraces, in markets, at meetings and public events of any kind, on sidewalks and at public transport stations, at a short distance from high-voltage power lines, gas installations and any kind of storehouses.
To prevent fires and accidents, the Chisinau City Hall also bans the placing and utilization of defective decorative lighting or handmade installations.
Those who will not obey the rules face fines and criminal liability.
