The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Islamic Republic of Iran, based in Baku, recommends the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to avoid any trip to Iran. The warning comes in connection with the intensification of security risks in the region, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Moldovan citizens who are on the territory of Iran can leave this country by air or by crossing the land border with the Republic of Turkey or the Republic of Armenia. The land border between Iran and Azerbaijan is still closed.
