Recipients of compensations for heat must renew applications

The families on low incomes from the municipality of Chisinau that benefited from social assistance for paying for heat and the natural gas, wood and coal used for heating last year must renew their applications in order to receive compensations during the 2011 – 2012 heating season, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall. The applications can be filed from October 5. The people living in the districts of Botanica, Centru, Rascani and Buiucani will submit the applications to the municipal housing stock managing companies No. 1 – 23. Those living in Ciocana district can lodge them through housing stock managers at the Ciocana district head’s office, while the people residing in the suburbs will file the applications to the local mayors’ offices. More than 37.000 families benefited from compensations for heat from the City Hall during the 2010 – 2011 season. A sum of 66 372 000 lei was allocated from the municipal budget for the purpose.
