The police revealed that the two men suspected of killing a 7-year-old girl in Recea village, Râșcani district, are brothers.
It is believed the girl went to the suspect’s house, located not far away from her family’s household. For motives yet to be determined, one of the brothers killed her before they both dumped the body in an abandoned house in the same village.
The suspects, 32 and 40, are now in police custody. A post-mortem has been ordered to determine the cause and circumstances of the death.
The girl went missing Monday evening. The police used tracking dogs and drones in the day-long search effort.
