The three ministers whose resignation was announced by Prime Minister Dorin Recean don’t specify the reasons for their decisions to leave. On Facebook, two of the ministers addressed thanks to the teams of which they formed part, IPN reports.
“It was an honor for me to serve the country as minister of the interior. I thank for the trust put in me! I thank the team of the Ministry of the Interior for their courage to confront the war together with all its threats, to keep peace and stability in the country and to cope with the multiple challenges. I’m honored to serve the homeland wherever I am,” wrote Minister of the Interior Ana Revenco.
In her message, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Lilia Dabija thanked the team and wished good luck to the future minister. “I don’t know if there are sufficient words to express my gratitude to the team with which I worked day by day to bring Europe here, at our home. I don’t exaggerate – we made effort to make progress in all the areas of activity: roads, bridges, regional and local development, building, water and sanitation. It doesn’t go to the fact that this Ministry’s areas are within the top 20 activities of the Government. I wish success to the future minister as this will have a lot of work to do. But nothing is impossible with such a team,” stated Lilia Dabija.
Minister of Education and Research Anatolie Topală hasn’t made any comment yet.
In a press beefing, Premier Dorin Recean announced the resignation of the three ministers, saying that he will present the list of new ministers for these posts to President Maia Sandu next Monday.
