Rain causes damage in a number of settlements

The heavy rain that fell on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning flooded crop fields and cellars and destroyed partially local roads, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the latest information provided by the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the rain with hail ruined crops in three settlements of Briceni district - – Trebisauti, Colicauti, and Bulboaca. A number of gardens were flooded in Sarata Galbena village of Hancesti district, while in Bulboci, Soroca there were inundated four cellars and two local roads. The local emergencies commissions are to determine the damage caused and the areas affected by the rain. The outlook for the next days is hot and sunny. Torrential rain with thunder and lightning is expected again on June 10 and June 11.
