The international passenger transport services by rail and by road were restarted on May 26. Those involved will have to obey the COVID-19 prevention and control measures, as the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health prescribed, IPN reports.

The personnel serving the routes must be provided with protective equipment and disinfectants. They must check their state of health, including take the temperature, at the start of the shift and must inform their employers about it.

The timetable and number of units of transport will be adjusted so as to avoid crowdedness. The passengers are obliged to wear protective masks. The transport operators will take the temperature of passengers when getting on and this must not be higher than 37°C. Within international passenger transport operations, including after each route, the surfaces inside vehicles will be disinfected at the terminus and the passengers will have their temperature taken.
