Radu Albot began a new adventure at a Grand Slam tournament. Moldova’s best tennis player will compete in the second qualifying round of Roland Garros, IPN reports.
Albot beat Spain’s Pere Riba 6-3, 6-3. In the second qualifying round, the Moldovan tennis player, who ranks 137th in the world, will meet Sweden’s Christian Lindell, who takes the 266th position in the ATP rankings. In case of success, Albot will need one more victory to qualify for the final of Roland Garros.
