Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot, World No. 45, had a good start at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament of Monte-Carlo, IPN reports.
The 29-year-old athlete eliminated Slovenia’s Aljaz Bedene, who takes the 70th spot in the ATP rankings. The match lasted for an hour and 25 minutes and ended by 6-4, 6-2 un favor of Albot. The Moldovan tennis player is to meet Russia’s Daniil Medvedev, World No. 14.
In the doubles, Radu Albot plays together with Nikoloz Basilashvili. In the match scheduled for April 16, the Moldovan-Georgian duel competes against the Raven Klaasen - Joe Salisbury pair.
