Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot has qualified for the doubles quarterfinals of the Grand Slam tournament US Open, IPN reports.
Radu Albot and the Tunisian player Malek Jaziri scored the third victory in New York, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6, against the brothers Ryan and Christian Harrison of the United States. Earlier, the Albot - Jaziri pair defeated the 2017 champions Horia Tecău and Rojer Jean-Julien.
In 2015, Radu Albot reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros. He then formed a pair with Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic.
