Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot didn’t manage to qualify for the main competition of the Shanghai Masters tournament of China, IPN reports.
In the second qualifying round, the 27-year-old athlete was beaten by France’s Jeremy Chardy, world No. 83. Chardy, 30, won by two sets 6-1, 7-6.
In the first round, Albot won against Germany’s Glorian Mayer, world No. 66, by 6-1, 7-6. The Moldovan tennis player takes the 112th position in the ATP rankings.
