Radu Albot was eliminated in the 1/8 finals of the Challenger tournament held in Paris. The Moldovan tennis player was beaten by the competition’s favorite No.2, Germany’s Tobias Kamke, IPN reports.
Albot lost by 2-6, 4-6 to Kamke, who is now the 103rd in the ATP rankings. Owing to the victory scored in the first round against Sebastien Tatlot of France, Albot won €1,100 and 8 points in the ATP rankings in this tournament.
Radu Albot also competed in the doubles, alongside Victor Hanescu. The Moldovan-Romanian twosome was eliminated in the first round by the French pair Pierre Herbert - Nicolas Mahut, by 1-6 3-6.
