Moldavan tennis player Radu Albot missed the quarterfinals qualification in the ATP 1000 tournament in Paris. He was defeated in three sets by the Frenchman Gael Monfils, world number 13, with the score 6-4, 4-6, 1-6.
The match lasted for one hour and 48 minutes.
Radu Albot, world number 50, had previously won against Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, world number 26 and Italian Andreas Seppi (74 ATP).
The favorites of the Paris competition are the top two in the world ranking, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.
