Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot was beaten in the final of the Challenger tournament of Suzhou. He lost to the 18-year-old Serbian player Miomir Kecmanovic, world No. 294, by 4-6, 4-6, IPN reports.
Albot qualified for the final after defeating in the semifinals Slovenia’s Blaz Kavcic, world No. 107, by 4-6, 6-3, 6-0. In China, he also won against Vishnu Vardhan of India, Kaichi Uchida of Japan and Adrian Menendez-Maceiras of Spain.
Radu Albot, 27, in his career has won five Challenger tournaments, in Uzbekistan (twice), India, Germany, and Poland.
