Radu Albot has qualified for the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament of Antalya. The Moldovan tennis player defeated Italy’s Paolo Lorenzi, who ranks 33rd in the world, by 6-3, 6-4, IPN reports.
Albot, who takes the 116th position in the ATP world rankings, controlled the hostilities throughout the game against the seed number two of the competition. Earlier, the 27-year-old player won against Portugal’s Joao Souza, who ranks 58th, by two sets.
After this competition, Radu Albot will compete in the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament that starts on July 3.
