The metal plant from Rabnita stops its activity starting with this Wednesday, April 12, reported “Lenta PMR” the official agency from Tiraspol.
The agency quotes the minister of economy from Tiraspol, Elena Cernenko. She stated that during the last 35 days, after Chisinau officially introduced the new customs rules, the plant registered 28 million dollars losses. According to the minister’s evaluation, total losses for the Transnistrian economy amount to 89 million dollars, inclusively 69, 5 million dollars losses for the enterprises.
Starting with this year the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine introduced new customs rules. In order to operate exports, the economic units from the Transnistrian region must register officially in Chisnau. They benefit of an express documents concluding regime.
The metal plant from Rabnita did not initiate, by now, the registration procedures. Rabnita metal plant is one of the most important tax payers in Transnistria and it ensures a big part of the income to the budget of the region.
