An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale took place in Vrancea region of Romania at a depth of 148.8 km in the morning of November 3, IPN reports, with reference to the National Research-Development Institute for Earth Physics of Romania, IPN reports.
The quake occurred at 6:50am and was felt in the Republic of Moldova too.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Liliana Pușcașu said that no victims or damage were reported following this morning’s quake. Also, no calls seeking help from rescuers were received.
