“Pyatyorochka” shop chain to appear in Moldova

Stati Market SRL has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Russia’s largest retailer X5 Retail Group, which owns the chains of shops “Pyatyorochka” and “Perekryostok”. The major aim of the agreement is to build the largest chain of ‘economy’ shops in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from Stati Holding, which includes Stati Market SRL. Under the strategy for developing the chain in Moldova, the first ten shops will be opened by the end of 2010. By two “Pyatyorochka” shops will be opened every month afterward. The next three years, Stati Market SRL will have 100 shops of the kind in Chisinau and in southern and northern Moldova. The economy shops “Pyatyorochka” provide five major advantages: low prices, products of a high quality, services of a high quality, wide range of products, and suitable working program and location. The shops sell the main food products at the lowest prices. More than 1,200 shops “Pyatyorochka” have been opened in Russia so far. The journal World Retail ranked this chain of shops eighth among the shops with prospects.
