The company Purcari Winery is changing its image. The year 1827, when the winery was founded, will represent the central element in disseminating the brand. ”We worked intensely to reach this stage. Purcari has a history and a legend that belongs to us. It has an identity and thus we decided to lay emphasis on this image,” said Purcari Winery director general Victor Bostan, quoted by IPN.

According to the company’s administration, during almost 200 years, Purcari Winery managed to maintain its values and quality standards. “The launch of the new identity of Purcari includes changing not only the label, but also the quality of the wines and the strategic directions,” said the commercial director Artur Marin.

The winery’s managers also said that the vineries planted in 2003-2004 with new sorts of vine already reached maturity and the company will produce new wines intended for the European and Western markets.

Purcari Winery forms part of the Bostavan Wineries Group. In 2003, the Purcari wine collection won 80 medals at international contests and won the Top Prize in winemaking that is awarded by the Government of Moldova.
