Pupils and students from all over the Republic of Moldova are invited to come on "Money Road" trip, organized between November 4-8 by the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) and "Expert-Grup" Independent Analytical Center, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the NBM, the trip will start at the National Bank of Moldova, which puts money in circulation in the economy, the NBM having the exclusive role of issuing banknotes and coins as a means of payment. In the exhibition hall of the NBM, visitors will find out which were the most important events in the history of the Moldovan leu, but also which are the security elements on banknotes.
The " money road " will continue by visiting commercial banks, where young people will find out what their role is and how they work, how the money enters these institutions and how it subsequently accesses the real economy. According to the statement, "during the bank visits, the participants will also benefit from a financial education lesson, in which they will find out what are the main financial concepts and products currently existing on the domestic financial market".
Study visits on the "Money Road" will be organized, from November 4 to 8, starting at 13.00. Access will be based on the previously prepared lists. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, who will be responsible for the safety of the minors during the trip.
"Money Road " is an event organized within the financial education project "Learn! Put the money to good use!” launched in March 2019.
