The draft regulations on the organization and functioning of parking lots in the municipality of Chisinau will be proposed for public consultations on Wednesday, IPN reports.
According to the head of the General Urban Mobility Division Vitalie Mihalache, the draft regulations allow, as a priority, to apply a parking fee per hour, with the subsequent introduction of subscriptions, depending on the needs and possibilities of vehicle owners.
The regulations do not refer to residential parking lots. These will be regulated at a later stage of the process.
Representatives of the business community, civil society, trade unions and employers’ associations as well as representatives of public authorities, experts and specialists in the field and also other interested persons are expected to take part in the consultations.
Proposals and recommendations on the draft regulations can be sent on Tuesday, until 04:00 p.m., to the email address sergiu.popovici@pmc.md, communicated on the telephone number 022 20-46-74 or to the Division, which is situated at 18 Sergei Lazo St, office 119.

The public consultations will take place in the meeting room of the Centru district head’s office, at 43 Bulgara St, starting at 02:00 p.m.
After the consultation stage, the draft regulations will be finalized and submitted to the Chisinau Municipal Council for approval.
