Public broadcaster commits to insure fair conditions for electoral competitors

The administration of the public broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” will insure fair conditions for all the electoral competitors in its newscasts and current affairs programs. The conditions were discussed at the last sitting of the company's Observers Council (Supervisory Board), Info-Prim Neo reports. A press release of the company reads that Teleradio-Moldova has improved its internal regulations of mirroring the race, taking into account suggestions and wishes of electoral competitors, proposals of international bodies, of foreign and local monitoring entities. “As during the previous elections, the requirements in editing electoral news remain the same: objectivity, balance and equidistance. Observing these corner-stone principles will contribute to holding free and fair elections, contributing to strengthen Moldova's democratic society,” reads a release issued by Teleradio-Moldova.
