The Party of Socialists (PSRM) on January 25 launches the election campaign all over the country. In Chisinau, this will be kicked off near the Triumphal Arch, where a meeting involving supporters of the party will be held. In the event, the PSRM will present its electoral platform, IPN reports.

In a news conference, the president of the PSRM Zinaida Grecheanyi said the electoral platform will also be in the party’s journal that will be distributed in the country when the election campaign starts. Also, all the candidates will go to discuss with people and will present the party’s electoral platform and the platform of each candidate apart. All the 51 candidates of the PSRM in single-member constituencies were registered. “Tomorrow we will kick off and we wish success to everyone, but we intend to win these elections. We are sure that what we do we do correctly. We will try to conquer the heart of each voter,” stated the politician.

The party’s executive secretary, MP Vlad Batrîncea said the PSRM is the favorite in the elections and, therefore, the other contenders combined forces against the party. Even so, the right has no chance of winning if only by manipulation, lie, etc. “In an honest struggle, with arguments, they will never defeat the Socialists,” stated the MP.

The PSRM’s jurist Fadei Nagacevski said the party since the start of the electoral period until now attentively monitored the behavior of electoral contenders, especially of the “big players”. Regrettably, acts to use administrative resources and to engage foreigners in electoral agitation, suspect financing and other such cases are witnessed. Representatives of the electoral bloc ACUM took part in a debate in Romania. This is an open electoral campaign conducted based on the money of a foreign foundation. “This outrageous situation will definitely be denounced to the Central Election Commission,” stated the jurist.

According to Ion Ceban, the party’s secretary for ideology, the cannons of all the declared pro-European parties and the ruling party are aimed at the PSRM. “This gang aims to prevent the Party of Socialists from winning a parliamentary majority. We tell them that regardless of what they want and how they aim their canons, our objective is to obtain this parliamentary majority so as to govern this country in the people’s interests,” he stated.
