In the Republic of Moldova, there is no locality that would not face problems. Poverty is expanding and the people cope with difficulty, said Socialist MPs who presented the Party of Socialists’ electoral program in the social sphere, IPN reports.
MP Vladimir Golovatiuc said the policy pursued by the government in the salary sector leads only to a more accentuated stratification of society. The poor become poorer and the rich become richer. The salaries grow, but not for everyone. The people working in agriculture, health and education receive by 25-30% less than the average salary in the economy. Someone gets 2,000 lei, while others 60,000 lei in salary.
“The problem of salaries and pensions should be solved not only with the help of efficient policies, but also by ensuring economic growth. The PSRM has a development program for all the sectors of the economy and the social sphere. The party is ready to deal with all these problems,” assured Vladimir Golovatiuc.
His colleague Vladimir Odnostalko said the Socialists suggest indexing pensions two times a year – on April 1 and on October 1 - and recalculating pensions at least once a year. They will also promote the personal pension for persons who worked for over 40 years.
In the current legislature, the PSRM has the second largest group after the Democratic Party, with 24 members. In the parliamentary elections of February 24, the PSRM runs in the national constituency under No. 4 on the ballot.
