Representatives of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) submitted the documents needed for having the party’s candidate for the mayoralty of Chisinau Zinaida Grecheanyi and the candidates for the posts of municipal council registered to the Chisinau District Electoral Council No. 1, IPN reports.
“We are convinced that our registration as contenders represents the first step towards removing Dorin Chirtoaca from the post of mayor general. We are all witnesses to the chaos that persisted in Chisinau over the last few years. We will bring things in Chisinau in order,” said the PSRM’s executive secretary, MP Vlad Batrancea.
He also said that there were filed the documents for registering a team of professionals who will not become involved in politics, but will bring things to normality in all the fields of activity in the municipality.
A draw will be held at 5pm to decide the order in which the candidates who submitted the documents
for registration today will be written in the ballot.
