The Party of Socialists (PSRM) and the Party of Communists (PCRM) will form a common group in the new Parliament. Such a decision was taken in the joint meeting of the political executive committees of the two parties on July 13, IPN reports.
“The administration of the parties decided to create the joint group of the Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The newly elected MPs were urged to choose their leader in the group’s organizational meeting,” the Party of Communists noted in a press release.
In the July 11 snap parliamentary elections, PSRM and PCRM competed together as part of the Electoral Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists. The Bloc gained 27.17% of the poll and will hold 32 seats of MP.
