PSL Positive about Creation of a Single Liberal Party

The Social Liberal Party (PSL) is in no doubt of the success of the creation project of a unique liberal party, in spite of doubts brought by different political formations, the chairman of the formation, Oleg Serebrian, announced about this at a press conference. Serebrian said that discussions have been initiated with several formations. He mentioned that it is not intended to create this party on PSL ground, and the procedure will be supervised by a foreign organization. In 2007, after local elections, joining of many political forces is to take place in the political arena, Serebrian mentioned. Referring to possible emerging of the liberal wing of the Alliance Moldova Noastra, in order to create a unique liberal party, Serebrian noted that he does not want to split this formation. „We will deal with complete formations and not factions”, he underlined. On 1 February, PSL addressed an appeal to all social political formations of liberal orientation to emerge in order to create a single liberal party – the Liberal Party of Moldova.
