The chairman of the European Social Democratic Party (PSDE) Ion Sula repeatedly called on the Moldovan citizens who also hold Romanian citizenship to vote for the PSD-PNL Alliance in the June 9 European Parliament elections. “We are here to urge you to take action and mobilize to make a firm choice on a path of development alongside the European family, with a safer and more prosperous future. The PSD-PNL Alliance is the only solution for a fairer, more supportive and more inclusive society. Through our participation in the ballot, we can directly influence the path that our country will take,” Ion Sula said at a press briefing on Friday, June 7, IPN reports.
On the last day of the election campaign, Ion Sula underlined the support provided during this period by members of the party from districts, supporters, volunteers and activists who informed the citizens about the importance of the European Parliament elections. “Without your help, we will not have been able to convey our message and mobilize the voters in this important direction,” said the PSDE leader.
“Today, every vote is an expression of our will to have a safer and more prosperous future. Let’s show that we care, that we are grateful for the support offered by Romania and the European Union to the Republic of Moldova. We are determined to contribute to building a safe future. Dear friends, we urge you to go out on Sunday, June 9, in as high numbers as possible to vote and support the PSD-PNL Alliance so that we build together a better future for all and make our voice heard in the European Union through the Romanian MEPs. Let’s build together a society based on European values, equity and solidarity,” said Ion Sula.
Deputy chairman of the European Social Democratic Party Yeremei Prisyazhnyuk said that given the national aspiration to join the European Union, PSDE Moldova comes with a message of support to the European partners, especially those that are part of the political family of European Social Democrats, and to the Moldovans who hold European citizenship to go the polls and support the European progress.
