The election observation mission of “Promo-LEX” Association reported at least 160 cases of organized transportation of voters by 2pm. There were also ascertained cases of unjustified presence of unauthorized persons in or near polls and of long lines at polling places abroad.
Cases of organized transportation of voters were reported at the polling places in Anenii Noi, Dubasari, Criuleni, Chisinau, Causeni and others. The mobile team of “Promo–LEX” reported that rows of minibuses and buses were heading from Camenca and Rybnitsa and from the left side of the Nistru to the polls.
At a polling place in Soldanesti, an MP and the car of another MP were spotted at a distance of less than 100 meters. At a polling place in Chisinau, a person who presented himself as a Parliament functionary asked to check the security inside the polling place.
In ten cases the observers ascertained attempts or even situations of offering money or presents to voters near polling places. At a polling place in Floresti, the observer of “Promo-LEX” said the voters received by 200 lei after they showed the stamp “Voted” put in their identity card.
The observers also reported cases of use of violence or intimidation. At a polling place in Orhei, the mayor punched the observer of a candidate and tore his clothes because this photographed how a minibus transported persons to the polling place.
