The large trucks of “Lafarge Ciment” factory will be redirected to a beltway that will bypass Rezina town and Ciorna village. Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Vasile Botnari, who was on a working visit to Rezina district, agreed with the local public authorities and the administration of “Lafarge Ciment” to build a ring road bypassing Rezina by the end of next year, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Transport and the administration of “Lafarge Ciment” will sign a memorandum of understanding in this respect so that the works start as quickly as possible. “The construction of the beltway to avoid Rezina will solve the problem of noise caused by the large trucks with cement going through Rezina and Ciorna. We agreed to rehabilitate an older road that goes from the cement factory near Papauti village and joins with the Rezina-Soldanesti road near Tareuca village. Also, “Lafarge Ciment” will build a road sector of about 3 km on its territory,” Vasile Botnari said after the meeting of the working group.

“Repaired according to modern technologies and standards, the beltway will be more convenient for the investor as it is shorter and does not go through settlements.”

The cost of the project is at about 67 million lei.
