Polish President Bronisław Komorowski and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will pay an official visit to Moldova on November 20, at the invitation of President Nicolae Timofti, IPN reports.
According to the program of the visit, the plane of the Polish delegation will land at the Chisinau International Airport at 8:30am, while that of the Ukrainian delegation - 5 minutes later.
At 9am, Bronisław Komorowski and Petro Poroshenko will be met by Nicolae Timofti within an official ceremony. Afterward, there will be held a trilateral meeting, followed by the plenary meeting of the delegations and the ceremony to sign a joint statement. At 10:45am, the three heads of state will give a joint news conference.
Afterward, Bronisław Komorowski and Petro Poroshenko will have a meeting with Head of Parliament Igor Corman and will then meet with Prime Minister Iurie Leanca. After the meetings, the delegations will lay flowers at the monument to Ruler Stefan the Great and Holy.
At 3:25pm, Petro Poroshenko, accompanied by Iurie Leanca, will travel to Balti municipality, where they will lay flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko and will visit the Ukrainian Community House and the National State Theater “Vasile Alecsandri”. A meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and students will be held at the theater.
Nicolae Timofti and Bronisław Komorowski will take part in the ceremony to unveil the bust of Polish Marsahal Josef Pilsudski.
