The President of Moldova Maia Sandu on January 12 will make an official visit to Kiev. The program of the visit includes meetings with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and Speaker Dmytro Razumkov, IPN reports.
The official delegation of the Republic of Moldova consists of the secretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Dumitru Socolan and Moldova’s Ambassador to Ukraine Ruslan Bolbocean.
President Sandu will also be accompanied by the secretary general of the presidential administration Andrei Spîn, adviser on foreign policy Cristina Gherasimov, adviser on the energy sector Sergiu Tofilat and others.
The visit to Ukraine is the first official visit that will be paid by Maia Sandu after her investiture. The first visit to Moldova was that made by the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis.
