Besides the traditional seminars and presentations, the exhibition will include a series of events that will be staged for the first time. “This time we plan to hold a session to present the country’s districts. Representatives of the local public administration will familiarize the public with the regional opportunities for developing the small and medium-sized businesses and methods of attracting investments and will address the difficulties faced by the businesspeople,” said Marina Petrov.
Within the Contracts Fairs, there will be organized a work visit to companies in Chisinau municipality to facilitate the interaction and exchange of experience among economic entities. Another novelty is the Chain Acquisition Center. The idea arouse from the necessity of supporting the small companies that are looking for markets to sell their goods. The large commercial chains and the producers will have bilateral meetings where they will discuss possibilities of cooperating.
Banca de Finante si Comert (“Finance and Trade Bank”) will present modern financial solutions for small businesses. There will be held a roundtable meeting centering on the negotiations with the European Union and the agricultural sector’s role in this process.
Experts of the World Bank Competitiveness Enhancement Project and of the partnership project between the Association of German Chambers of Trade and Commerce and the Chambers of Industry of the member states of the CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Agreement) will inform the national entrepreneurs about the possibilities of cooperating with foreign companies and negotiating contracts with them.
