Program of “European Moldova” Assembly

The authorities published the program of the “European Moldova” Assembly that will take place on May 21 in the Great National Assembly Square, IPN reports.

The participants in the event will gather together in the central square of Chisinau between 10am and 11am. The “European Moldova” Assembly will be inaugurated with the signing of the national anthem of the Republic of Moldova by Valentina Naforniță. Moldova Youth Orchestra and the choir “Moldova” will sing the EU’s anthem.

Speeches will be delivered by Moldova’s President Maia Sandu and the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola.

Master Eugen Doga will perform the “Ode to Joy”. More speech will be given.

Starting at midday, Moldova Youth Orchestra, Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici and Cătălin Josan will give a recital in the central square of Chisinau. Speeches will be delivered again starting at 12:30pm. The adoption of the “European Moldova” Resolution was scheduled for 1pm. A performance involving Vali Boghean Band, Nicolae Botgros and “Lăutarii” Orchestra will follow.

The “European Moldova” Assembly which was announced by President Maia Sandu is to deliver to the international community the Moldovans’ sincere wish to be part of the European community. The event is staged ahead of the European Political Community Summit that Moldova will host on June 1.
