The Cabinet approved changes to the regulations concerning the issuing of identification papers with a view to simplifying the procedure for obtaining such papers, IPN reports.

Thus, when applying for identification papers, the person will not be obliged to present the civil status certificate as the given information is contained in the Population Register and other registers. Also, documents that confirm the right to own the property (dwelling) will not be required as such information can be found in the Real Estate Register.

A person can hold two passports on condition that the data in these are identical.

The made chances allow paying the taxes and tariffs for the provided services through digital instruments without having to present a proof on paper.
