The Cabinet approved the procedure for authorizing regular and irregular domestic flights that is stipulated in the regulations concerning the authorization of flights and the use of the national airspace by civil and state aircraft, IPN reports.
The procedure for authorizing regular and irregular domestic flights until now has been specified only by the civil aeronautics regulations proposed by the State Civil Aviation Administration.
The new regulations stipulate the method of authorizing regular and irregular commercial flights and the issuing of authorizations for regular and irregular flights to national or international air operators in accordance with the international practice.
According to the authorities, the procedure was agreed in a move to ensure nondiscriminatory treatment between national or international air operators. According to this, any flight in the national airspace is considered authorized if a flight plan for an authorized aircraft is submitted to ÎS “MoldATSA”.
