The problems faced by the eight Moldovan-administered, Romanian-language schools in Transnistria were discussed in a meeting in Chisinau of the working groups on education that involved representatives of the Transnistrian conflict settlement talks in the 5+2 format, IPN reports.
According to the Reintegration Office, among the discussed problems were the identification of a building for the Rabnita Theoretical Lyceum “Evrica”, apostillng of education certificates issued in the Transnistrian region, conditions for signing lease contracts and tariffs of public utilities.
There were also discussed the participation by teachers of Transnistrian education institutions in training courses in accordance with the Intel Teach Essentials Program, the vacation of children from both sides of the Nistru and conditions of admission of Transnistrian graduates to universities in Moldova and abroad.
The sides agreed that the discussions on these subjects will continue in the next meeting. The date of the meeting will be set later.
