Statistical data show that the country is now managed by one of the weakest governments after the declaring of Independence, said representatives of the Pro Moldova Party. According to them, Moldova cannot enter the winter that is expected to be rather harsh with such a weak government. Therefore, the party decided to launch an online campaign to collect signatures in favor of the dismissal of the Gavrilița Government.
“We do not have something against the person of Natalia Gavrilița. We are firmly convinced that she has a lot of skills and qualities and can surely do well in any other post, but we can no way continue with her as manager of the Government of the Republic of Moldova,” Boris Foca, acting chairman of Pro Moldova, stated in a news conference hosted by IPN.
According to him, the current Government should leave and a new professional Government, which can deliver results and can stop the economic and financial crisis in Moldova, should be swiftly voted in. The current Cabinet includes good specialists, but a Government cannot be kept because of two-three suitable ministers.
“What do we have now? An economy that was brought to its knees. Energy instability each day and no improvement or certainty that we will have electricity and natural gas is in sight. The Government should be fully replaced. The new Cabinet should include professionals, persons who are free from suspicions of corruption. In this connection, we call on the population of the Republic of Moldova, on the citizens who feel responsible, on civil society, on our mates, on other parliamentary or extraparliamentary parties to promote the campaign to collect signatures in favor of the dismissal of the Gavrilița Government. He expressed his conviction that during 30 to 60 days on average, we will collect several tens of thousands if not even hundreds of thousands of vote in favor of the Government’s dismissal. “Our goal is to contribute to the removal of the government, to point to the existing deviations and to become involved to ensure the wellbeing of the Republic of Moldova.
