The youth choir of the out-of-school activities center “Cantemus” based in Chisinau’s Rascani district returned with three medals from the International Choral Contest held in Miedzyzdroje, Poland, the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb announced in Monday’s ordinary meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, IPN reports.
Tatiana Tverdohleb said “Cantemus” conductor Denis Ceausov was awarded a gold medal in the Best Conductor category. The choir was also conferred two silver medals in the Youth category. The contest involved artistic groups from 19 countries, including the United States.
