The Chisinau councilors voted unanimously for instituting prizes for economic entities and grain producers from Chisinau on the occasion of the Agriculture and Processing Industry Worker’s Day, IPN reports.
Under the draft decision, the Agriculture and Food Division of the Chisinau Municipal Council will receive 36,000 lei from the municipal reserve fund for offering prizes to the best combiners, truck and tractor drivers and participants in the harvest period this year.
The best combiners will receive prizes of 800 lei for the first place, 700 lei for the second place, and 600 lei for the third place.
The prizes for the best combiner assistant will represent 600 lei for the first place, 500 lei for the second place, and 400 lei for the third place.
The prizes for the best truck and tractor drivers will be 600 lei, 500 lei and 400 lei, respectively.
The best worker who took part in the harvest and the best worker from the processing industry will also receive awards.
