Two of the nine unfinished constructions put up for sale at the outcry auctions held by the Public Property Agency were sold, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Agency’s head Tudor Copaci said the privatization process this year started with promising results. The unfinished building of the former Nistrian Executive Committee located on Mircea cel Batran St was bought for 2 million lei. The initial price was 600,000 lei. The unfinished building of an ambulatory care service situated in Mihaileni district of Rascani district was sold for 83,000 lei. It was auctioned at the initial price of 75,000 lei. Seven unfinished constructions situated in rural areas were exhibited at the discount auction. The unfinished Rezina-based bathroom complex was sold for 212,000 lei. Its initial price was 423,000 lei. The first privatization round this year will continue on March 20-23. State-owned shares in 27 joint stock companies will be sold at outcry auctions at the Stock Exchange of Moldova. The holdings in 13 of them are over 51%. Bids will be accepted by March 30 for the investment and commercial contest announced on February 24. State-owned property and shares of about 800 million lei will be put up for sale in the first privatization round.
