The private units of transport’s access to the territory of cemeteries in Chisinau will be restricted in two-three days in connection with the works that will be performed by cleanup services, IPN reports, quoting the Chisinau City Hall.
As of April 20, vehicles’ access to “Saint Lazarus” Cemetery on Doina St will be limited, while from April 21 to all the other cemeteries, namely: Central Cemetery on A. Mateevici St; Catholic Cemetery on Trandafirilor St; “Saint Trinity” Cemetery on Muncesti St “Sculeni” ; Cemetery on Calarasi bystreet and “St Ciobanu” Cemetery on Decembristilor St.
On Low Sunday, which this year is celebrated on April 23 and 24, the Chisinau municipality will organize free transport to “Saint Lazarus” Cemetery. As the previous years, there will be introduced the additional bus routes “C” and “D”, while the number of buses running on route No. 27 will be increased. Passengers can travel by these three routes free of charge.
During the two days, minibuses No.126, 132, 134, 154, 162, 180, 184 and 189 will travel up to “Saint Lazarus” Cemetery.
On Low Sunday, the units of transport, except for the public ones, will not have access to the section of Doina St between Socoleni St and the entrance to “Saint Lazarus” Cemetery.
