The movement of private cars on the territory of the largest cemeteries in Chisinau will be banned on Low Sunday. Chisinau police chief Silviu Musuc, in the April 26 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, said only the public units of transport will have access to the entrances to cemeteries, Info-Prim Neo reports. The police will issue permits allowing the cars to go up to the gates of Saint Lazarus Cemetery. Similar permits will be issued to disabled persons or in emergencies. In order not to obstruct traffic, the companies that will sell products near the cemeteries will have to bring the merchandise in the morning so as not to use vehicles during the day. Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca asked employing the practice of the previous years, when free parking places were available on the adjoining streets and in the yards of the companies located near cemeteries. There are 11 cemeteries in the municipality of Chisinau.
