The printing of ballots for the national consultative referendum of February 24, 2019 that will be distributed to the polling places established outside Moldova begins on February 5, IPN reports.
The Central Election Commission said representatives of electoral contenders, the mass media and accredited observers can attend the process that starts at the publishing house “Tipografia Centrală” situated at 1 Florilor St at 1pm.
Under the CEC decision of February 2, a number of 1 981 200 ballots will be printed for the polling places abroad for the national consultative referendum of February 24, 2019. Of these, 1 617 800 ballots will be in the Romanian language, while 363 400 will be in Russian.
On February 24, the voters will be issued with four ballots. One ballot will contain the list of contestants running in the national constituency, while another ballot will contain the list of candidates running in a uninominal constituency. The other two ballots are for the referendum, by one for each of the two questions.
