Prime Minister Tarlev given gold medal by “Eureka” Fair of Inventions

The Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev is part of a group of prize winning inventors at the traditional exhibition of the International Fair of Research, Innovation and New Technologies “Eureka-2006” which was recently held in Brussels. The gold medal was obtained for the paper “New top technologies of drying mushrooms”. In total, Moldovan scientists were awarded 18 distinctions – as many as the number of inventions taking part – 11 gold medals, 5 silver ones, and one bronze medal and one Diploma of merit. According to the university professor Aurelian Gules, national coordinator for this exhibition, the gold medals were obtained for the following papers: “New production technologies for nanomaterials”, “Electrical microhydrostations”, “Methods to fight castor-oil plants”, “Method to determine the genetic purity of sun flower”, “Alimentary bio-additives”, “Tumor treatment”, “Bio-stimulators”.
