The Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Luc Frieden on Thursday begins his two-day official visit to the Republic of Moldova. In Chisinau, the official will have meetings with Prime Minister Dorin Recean and President Maia Sandu, IPN reports.
According to Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă, Premier Dorin Recean will meet with his Dutch counterpart Luc Frieden on Friday. The Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to arrive in Chisinau next Monday.
“Although they will come on different days, the officials will send a common message – both Greece and Luxembourg support a European Moldova, a prosperous Moldova and a secure Moldova. The officials will discuss with Prime Minister Dorin Recean the bilateral agenda, the commercial-economic agenda and the integration process of our country given that both of the countries are member states of the European Union,” stated Daniel Vodă.
In connection with the official visit, people’s access to a number of public places in the capital city on September 12 and 13 will be temporarily restricted. According to the Chisinau City Hall, on September 12, between 08:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., and on September 13, between 06:00 a.m. and 03:00 p.m., the people’s access to particular places in the municipality of Chisinau, downtown and to the arteries that ensure connection with the Chisinau International Airport, will be temporarily limited. Drivers are urged to comply with the requests of the traffic police and to show patience and discipline in traffic.
