Primary medical assistance units will be created in the subdivisions of the public and private medical-sanitary facilities of Chisinau municipality. Also, tanks with drinking water will be placed in the public parks of Chisinau. The measures are stipulated in an order on the minimization of the impact of hot weather on the population’s health made by deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu, IPN reports.
Under the order, the Chisinau Public Health Center will ensure the epidemiological supervision of diseases and will assess the sanitary conditions in recreational areas and summer camps. The Food Safety Division will monitor the conditions in which food products are sold at consumer markets.
The Trade, Public Food and Services Division will monitor the activity of stalls selling soft drinks, kvass and ice-cream, while the district head’s offices will issue authorizations for selling these products on the streets with many pedestrians and in recreational areas, additionally for the warm period.
There will be examined the activity of rescue teams whose duty is to make sure that the people obey the norms of conduct in recreational areas.
