The price of a kilogram of cherries at the market varies between 15 and 20 lei. Strawberries are sold for 25 to 30 lei, while apricots for 40 lei/kg, IPN reports.
The buyers will pay 25 to 35 lei per kilogram of tomatoes. Cucumbers can be bought for 14 to 18 lei a kilogram. Pumpkins cost 7 to 10 lei/kg, while carrots 8 lei/kg.
The price of a kilogram of eggplants is 40 lei and up, of bell peppers - 50 lei and up, of early cabbage – 13 lei and up. Radish costs 10 lei per kilogram, chilies 26 lei, while potatoes 7 lei and more. Onion can be bought for 6 lei, mushrooms for 18 lei/kg, while a bunch of parsley, dill and green onion tops for 2 lei.
Pork is sold for 70 lei, while beef for 80 lei. Domestic hens cost 39-40 lei/kg, while ten eggs 12-13 lei. Cow cheese can be bought for 40 lei kg, while ewe’s cheese for 50 lei/kg. Sour cream costs 30 lei, while homemade butter 80 lei/kg. The carpus is sold for 80 lei/kg, while the crucian carp for 35 lei/kg.
